Bio
Siobhán Scarlett O’Reilly is a writer, researcher and filmmaker based in the UK. Her work moves across hybrid memoir, creative nonfiction, poetry, video essay and experimental film, with a particular interest in liminal space imagery, embodiment, memory, digital atmospheres, and the uneasy border between selfhood and performance. She is currently completing a PhD at the University of Brighton on the emotional impact of liminal space imagery.
Her writing explores girlhood, illness, surveillance, identity and emotional misrecognition. She has been longlisted by CRAFT Literary, and her poetry chapbook Eat All My Letters is forthcoming with Dancing Girl Press. Her films and video essays have been screened and presented at festivals and conferences.
